World Cup 2023: Pakistan lodge complaints against Indian Fans

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lodged three complaints regarding World Cup 2023 with International Cricket Council (ICC). All complaints associated with India. After long 7 years the Pakistan Cricket Team appeared in India to play International Cricket. Before this they came at the time of 2016 T20 World Cup. Both India and Pakistan only used to face each other in Asia Cup and ICC events due to the tense relations between the two countries. But in long seven years not a single match was arranged on Pakistan or Indian soil.

Now the ICC World Cup 2023 arranged in India. Pakistan already faced India at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. Now the Pak Cricket Board officially lodge complaints regarding World Cup. Their first complaint is regarding the delay in visas for Pakistani sports journalists. The second one on the absence of a visa policy for the Pakistani fans. The third complaint is condemning Indian fans about bad behavior during the IND vs PAK match at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Indian supporters were chanting Jai Shree Ram when Mohammad Rizwan was heading back to the dressing room after getting dismissed in that match. Pakistan captain Babar Azam was also booed after toss.

In India-Pakistan clash, Team India managed to produce an all-round dominant display over Pakistan to secure a win by seven wickets. India secured 8th World Cup win against Pakistan. Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma hammered a 36-ball half-century. He scored 86 runs off 63 balls, including six fours and six sixes in that match.
