IPL 2024 : RCB lost again! Lucknow Super Giants won by 28 runs

Lucknow Super Giants beats Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 28 runs at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Lucknow Super Giants managed to reach 181 for five. But RCB lost all wickets scoring 153 in 19.4 overs.

Quinton de Kock showcased his remarkable batting prowess by scoring a fifty. He scored 81 off 56 balls. De Kock and Marcus Stoinis (24 off 15 balls) added 56 runs off 30 balls for the third wicket. Though other Super Giants batters struggled to find momentum on a pitch, Nicholas Pooran’s quickfire 40 off 21 helped them to get 181-5 in 20 overs.

In the second innings, LSG started with two left-arm spinners against Faf and Kohli. Siddarth got Kohli early, 22 off 16 balls. Mayank Yadav, the pace sensation, was introduced in the final over of the powerplay. After finding his momentum, he troubled the big-hitter Maxwell with his pace and bounce. Mayank got Rajat Patidar, Maxwell, Cameron Green. Patidar and Rawat stitched a 36-run stand but they never threatened LSG. Mahipal Lomror, the Impact Player, scored a quickfire of 33 runs for RCB. At last they fall 28 runs short.
