Ravindra Jadeja, who picked 3 for 18 in 4 overs made a crucial contribution even with taking two catches in the field. With this, Jadeja reached the milestone of 100 catches in the IPL, becoming the first player to achieve the remarkable feat of at least 100 catches, 1,000 runs, and 100 wickets in the tournament. For his performance in the match, Jadeja also awarded as Player of the Match.
The 35-year-old all-rounder has established himself as one of the most valuable assets in the Indian Premier League. He has already claimed 156 wickets and 2,776 runs in the game. Now achieving 100 wickets in the tournament takes him to the same brackets with Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Kieron Pollard, and Rohit Sharma for the most catches by a fielder in the IPL.
