Rajasthan Royals lost Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson early in the powerplay. Jos Buttler also dismissed without making a key contribution. As Royals reeled at 36/3 in 7.2 overs youngster Riyan Parag takes the charge. The right-handed batter has made a bright start to the season and produced a brilliant knock against Delhi Capitals. Smashed an unbeaten 84 off just 45 balls, takeing RR to a strong score of 185/5 in 20 overs. He was helped by Ravichandran Ashwin, who played a quick knock of 29 off just 19 balls.
Marsh and Warner got off to a fast start for Delhi Capitals. Mitchel Marsh (23 off 12 balls) was bowled by Burger. He took Bhui as well in the same over. Warner fell for 49 runs off 34 balls and Pant soon after scoring 28 off 26 balls. Impact player Abishek Porel couldn’t do much. Later Tristan Stubbs (44 off 23 balls) tried with some late action but DC stopped 12 runs short after 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals won their second home game of this season.
